I would rather be told, right to my face, that my government is a fossil fuel funded, free market, endless growth operation, that supports genocide and extinction with my tax dollars, than to be told happy lies trying to give me the false impression that it is not. If you put a gun to my head and make me vote for the red team or the blue team, I would vote for the red time every time (of course I won't vote for either!) as they at least are more incompetent at running the empire. There is a lot more resistance from the "left" (which goes to sleep when the blue team is in the white house) when the red team is in power.  I've been a Green Party volunteer in my community since 1996, so I have seen this over and over.  

Just a few examples of how Trump is no worse than Obama, Biden, or Harris:

The Obama and Biden administrations deported more immigrants from the US than the Bush and Trump administrations.  

The Obama and Biden administrations issued more fossil fuel drilling permits than the Bush and Trump administrations (this is all that really matters!).

The Obama and Biden administrations have supported the long term war crimes and genocide against the Palestinian people more aggressively than the Bush and Trump administrations.  

The Obama and Biden administrations have been more aggressive in confronting Russia (NATO enlargement) than the Bush and Trump administrations. Nuclear war is just as bad as climate caused extinction, but certainly would solve climate crisis, as nobody would burn any more fossil fuel after nuclear Armageddon.

I could go one about how the blue team and the red team are the same in regards to health care, affordable housing, inflation, etc...etc..etc.. but you get my gist.  

It does not matter at all if the empire that drives us to extinction is painted red, white, and blue or rainbow colors. The cockroaches that might survive certainly will not notice the difference.

We need a movement that has a route to power. The red team and blue teams only serve multinational corporations and oligarchs that are rapidly leading us to oblivion. Neither of them can be influenced by marches in the street or civil disobedience (I've done that since the 1980s to NO effect). Only the Green Party has built a route to power that can replace them. It is a long shot, but it is the only shot we have.
