On Friday September 14, 2018, Green Party statewide candidates Jo Crain for US Senate and Don Fitz for State Auditor will face-off with candidates from the other parties in the first debates of the General Election season! This is the second time our statewide candidates have been able to join the debates since we gained ballot access. Don Fitz for State Auditor's statement about the debate:
In July 2018, a San Francisco jury awarded $289 million to black groundskeeper Dewayne Johnson due to cancer resulting from his exposure to Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup.
As Missouri Green Party candidate for State Auditor, I am calling for a full audit of purchases of Roundup for use on roadways, state parks, schools and government buildings. I also want to know how much could be lost in lawsuits if the State of Missouri fails to pledge to not use Roundup and similar herbicides.
Our statewide candidates are especially important to our party because they access the largest platform for Missourians to hear our message. Also, votes for them help us maintain our statewide ballot access. Please help our party boost our candidates' efforts in 2018 by donating $18 or more today!
