Carol Hexem for State Representative - District 70

Carol grew up in Ferguson and spent most of her adult life in St. Louis City. She currently lives with her teenage son in Maryland Heights, Missouri. She also has three adult children and two grandchildren.

Carol holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She owned and operated a small business for 10 years. She also taught grade school and GED classes for many years. Presently, she works as a sales manager for a small, privately-owned business.

Carol choose the Green Party because they are not bound to corporate interests that often do not benefit the majority of citizens or our citizens in most need. As State Representative from District 70, she will promote equity for all persons, relief of student loan debt, a living wage and support for businesses that create jobs by implementing environmentally friendly measures. She is also an advocate for access to affordable housing and expanding Medicaid in Missouri.
